Whether large or small, we want our dogs to stop barking when we ask. Training a new behaviour takes time, patience, and consistency. Here we are teaching the very first steps of what's called a positive interrupt cue which ultimately will be used when the dog is barking to let us know someone is at the door. When the dog hears the cue "thank you" she will know to go to her person and stops barking in the process. The dog gets a treat, the human gets silence! Everyone wins :)
